2. Test IIS (Internet Information Server) components for proper connectivity

Microsoft Exchange 2003 SP2

It is true, Windows 2003 automatic updates does not include the Exchange 2003 Service Pack 2 update, which is necessary for the iPhone to communicate to the Exchange Server.  Here are the steps to determine if service pack 2 is installed:

1. Open your Microsoft Exchange System Manager
2. Expand Servers
3. Properties of Server
4. Check to see if you see Build 7638.2: Service Pack 2

If your Exchange Activesync is not working with your 3G iPhone, then you have reached the correct spot to fix all of your sync issues.
